2Y - Daily Walk with Yee

Kinder Nursery
We went to the park. Yee climbed the stairs of the slide. When she was at the top, she called,"先生". Yee dared not slide down by herself. I slide down with her. After sliding, she climb the step again and said, "先生".

The nursery prepared a birthday book for Yee. It was a wonderful gift, precious memory of her stay in Japan. It was not free, we have to pay 840yen (S$12.50) for it.


ひとみ先生、Yee's new teacher for the new academic year which commences in April.

Dinnertime
Yee said, "Daddy, work." which I was not surprised.
What surprised me was this:
"阿姨,school."
"叔叔，work."
Reading Time
There was a photo of a watering can on Yee's picture book. I showed her the toy watering can. Yee held the watering can and pointed at the photo and said, "same". Next, she held a blue bottle and pointed at another photo of a blue bottle and said, "same".

2Y - At the Park

On our way to the park, we saw a mascot.
Yee-chan was afraid of it and would not go near.

It is common to see boys climbing tree at the park in Japan. I don't think it is common back home.

Yee was mesmerized by the sight in front of her.

The ........ fountain that she used to play before winter. Daddy told her that we did not bring extra clothes so she could not play in it today. Yee just stood by the fence and watched. What a good girl.

Yee spotted something .... an ant. She bended to have a closer look. It is amazing to learn what caught kids' attention.

We went to the park. Yee was making cake with a lot of twigs. It looked like a birthday cake, a very beautiful cake.

It is interesting that Yee made cake after her birthday. Yee also started to sing "happy birthday".

We went to the park. Yee was happily playing with sand. She seemed to like the red shovel and quickly took it. She put a lot of sand into the bucket.

Yee had so much fun that she want to go with Amy-san, Mari-san and Kai-kun.

The BD girl is so tired that she dozed off on her rice cracker.

In the Morning
爸爸： “你一天吻女儿几次？”
妈妈： “你数一数天上有多少星星，就知道了。”
爸爸： “你数一数海滩上多少沙，就知道了。”
妈妈： “你数一数沙漠有多少沙，就知道了。”
爸爸哑口无言。
过后，爸爸 沾沾自喜： “你数一数世界上所有的细胞有多少，就知道了。”
妈妈敬佩的望着爸爸： “你赢了。”
爸爸得意的笑着。
Kinder Nursery
We went to the park. Yee played with the swing and slide. After playing with them, she played with a paddle of muddy water by stepping on it. Her shoes, socks and pants are dirtied with mud.
Near Bedtime
Yee pointed at this photo on my desktop wall paper and said, "Koh Yee pray." I was taken aback.

We went to the park. Yee was standing and looking at a toy “bouncing” dog. She saw her friends sitting on it and rocking. I asked her, “Yee, do you want to ride?” I let her sit on another one, Yee was very happy.
Dinnertime
Yee was willful and brushed her bowl onto the floor. I gave her a plastic bag and told her to pick up her own mess. She readily obliged ... these days.
