Yee Feeling Hurt
When throwing tantrum, Yee sometimes 'slapped' Mummy on the face. This morning, she did it again. Mummy 'slapped' Yee back on her face lightly. Yee cried hurtfully. Mummy had never seen Yee cried in this hurtful way before. Mummy explained to Yee that when Mummy 'slapped' her, Yee felt hurt in her heart and was sad. Likewise, Mummy felt hurt and sad when Yee 'slapped' Mummy. After explaining a few times, Yee seemed to undestand and calm down. Then Mummy and Yee kissed and made up again.
Kinder Nursery Report
We went to 南根(みなみね) park today. The teachers were making “しゃぼ人玉” and Yee was delighted to see it. Then Yee-chan picked up acorns. It seemed important and she put it into her bucket.

Toilet TrainingMummy placed a stool by the toilet bowl for Yee to get up and climb down by herself. This morning, Yee tripped a few times. But she refused help and asked Mummy to go away and not watch her as she tried to climb up by herself.
Every weekday evening, Mummy pushed Yee home, in her tricycle, from the nursery. It has been Mummy's desire to take a picture for memory.

2Y5M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
While waiting for the bus to the pool

Little Flying Fish
- Yee now dived by herself and swam towards Mummy from Daddy or vice versa. Mummy noticed that Yee swam differently now. Yee used to kick with her legs (like dog-style). Today, Mummy saw her lifting her bum up and down as she swam (like butterfly-style). It was interesting to observe how Yee learn to swim naturally.
- Yee also did something new today. As she swam, she was able to U-turn back. Both Daddy and Mummy were surprised when we witnessed it.
Famished Yee
Yee must be very hungry that she ate onigiri and egg at the same time.

Daddy's moment

Daddy was trying to share Yee's chicken wing but Yee pushed him off.

Spoken Words
Daddy was teaching Yee to say, "鸡翅膀" when Yee said, "慢, 慢".
Then Daddy said, "鸡", Yee would repeat "鸡", followed by the next two characters one by one.

2Y5M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Kinder Nursery Report
We played with 積み木(blocks) and blocks. When the songs (for the sports day) were playing on the DVD, Yee-chan stood up immediately and danced with her friends.
Tricycle Ride Home
Yee was skillful at maneuvering the tricycle. This evening, Mummy did not help her at all. When she rode into any obstacle, she would steer the tricycle away from it. Good job, Yee!
Words Spoken
- Outside door, Yee called out to Daddy (who was standing at the elevator landing),
"Daddy, wait. 後で (あとで) press." [後で(あとで)=after]
