Kinder Nursery Report
We played with 積み木(blocks) and blocks. When the songs (for the sports day) were playing on the DVD, Yee-chan stood up immediately and danced with her friends.
Tricycle Ride Home
Yee was skillful at maneuvering the tricycle. This evening, Mummy did not help her at all. When she rode into any obstacle, she would steer the tricycle away from it. Good job, Yee!
Words Spoken
- Outside door, Yee called out to Daddy (who was standing at the elevator landing),
"Daddy, wait. 後で (あとで) press." [後で(あとで)=after]

2Y5M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Doctor Visit in the Morning
- Last evening, Mummy saw the notice at Yee's nursery. One kid contracted H1N1 virus in Yee's nursery, 7 kids were showing symptoms and 3 kids were suspected.
- Mummy is concerned and brought Yee to see the doctor to see if she can have the vaccine for seasonal flu. Yee has mild cold for the last two weeks and could not have the vaccine.
- Doctor Yo said that Yee was not completely well. So he prescribed medicine for Yee instead.
Kinder Nursery Report
The Rabbit group went to the park today. Yee-chan was watching video in the room. When we came back from the park, I said, “Good morning, Yee-chan” and she smiled and ran to me.
Words Spoken
- This evening, Yee kept using the words "後で (あとで) [=later]". For example, "後で keep", "後で close", etc. And she did it with the hand gesture.
- Yee was singing and dancing (using the Japanese kids song book). At one point, I was merely singing the last part (in fact only one word 遊びましょ (あそびましょ) [=let's play]. Yee stopped and said, "Mummy help ない. Koh Yee sings. Sing by self."

2Y5M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Kinder Nursery Report
We went to 東沖 (ひがしおき) park. Once we reached the park, Yee-chan ran to the swing and sat for a long time. While sitting on the swing, she said, “バード、いない” (Bird, don’t have) with a sad expression. She must be feeling a bit lonely without the birds.
Riding Tricycle Home
- Mummy has been bringing the tricycle to the nursery so that Yee could ride on it home. Now that Yee was stepping on the pedal very well, this evening, Mummy 'unlocked' the steerling wheel to let Yee try maneuvering the tricycle. Yee was pretty good at it.
- Mummy look forward to the day where Yee can pedal on her own. Yee still does not have enough strength to pedal with her legs yet. Mummy believes with this daily practice, soon, Yee will be able to do it.
- Mummy hopes there will be an opportunity to let Yee ride in the day time so that Mummy can take some pictures. Our weekends are always packed with activities like ballet, swimming and church that we do not have spare time to be it :-(
Words Spoken
- Now Yee likes to say, "did it!" whenever she completed a task like unzipping her jacket, etc. Sometimes she said it in Japanese, "やった”.

2Y5M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Yee's Ballet Class
Daddy said that Yee was good at her ballet class today. She followed teacher's instruction 70% of the time. When she was not following, she remained at the dance floor, playing at the bar by the mirror. Twice she came running to Daddy. Once when she did it, she told Daddy, "bad job", put on a sad face and ran back onto the dance floor. Whenever Yee came to Daddy, Daddy would ignore her and continue to read the TIME magazine. So, Yee would go back to the dance floor. Praise God for Yee's vast improvement from last week.
Yee's Affection for Dogs
Mummy seldom get to take picture with Yee and asked Daddy to help. Unfortunately, Yee was un-cooperative and did not want to take picture :-(

Yee First Taste of McPork
Mummy is surprised that Yee loves McPork and ate more than half of the burger.

Mummy promised Yee ice-cream as she was un-cooperative in changing her clothes after the ballet class. Once Mummy said ice-cream, Yee immediately put on her clothes.

Yee started to sing after eating
Song: かえるのがっしょう (The Frog Chorus)
Song: 大きな栗の木の下で (おおきなくりのきのしたで) (Under the spreading chestnut tree)
Pull-up in the Train
