Yee's Ballet Class Daddy said that Yee was good at her ballet class today. She followed teacher's instruction 70% of the time. When she was not following, she remained at the dance floor, playing at the bar by the mirror. Twice she came running to Daddy. Once when she did it, she told Daddy, "bad job", put on a sad face and ran back onto the dance floor. Whenever Yee came to Daddy, Daddy would ignore her and continue to read the TIME magazine. So, Yee would go back to the dance floor. Praise God for Yee's vast improvement from last week. Yee's Affection for Dogs Mummy seldom get to take picture with Yee and asked Daddy to help. Unfortunately, Yee was un-cooperative and did not want to take picture :-( Yee First Taste of McPork Mummy is surprised that Yee loves McPork and ate more than half of the burger. Mummy promised Yee ice-cream as she was un-cooperative in changing her clothes after the ballet class. Once Mummy said ice-cream, Yee immediately put on her clothes. Kinder Nursery Report We practised for the sports day. Yee-chan watched the DVD and was dancing happily. After the practice, we played with balls. Yee-chan and friends were throwing a lot of balls together. Spoken Words a) Daddy made the bed in the morning and Yee said, "上手（じょうず）" (skillful)to him. Last evening was the first time Yee used this word. Mummy could not recall the incident. b) At the door, Yee said, "Excuse me," as Mummy was blocking her way. c) Recently, Yee loves to say, "... ないよ" to everything we said. E.g. "Showerないよ", "Kissないよ", "Stop Crying ないよ". This is equivalent to what Singapore toddler loves to say, "No". d) At dinner time, Mummy looked at Yee and smiled. Yee looked at Mummy with a serious expression and said, "Happyない." Mummy was puzzled and asked, "Why?" "Eat," came Yee's reply. Yee wanted to stop smiling and eat her dinner. e) While watching Barney, Yee wanted Mummy to stay beside her. When Mummy attempted to walk away, she said, "行かない” (don't go). f) When Daddy kisses Yee, she will sometimes say, "ここ 痛い（いたい）, kiss ない" (here, pain, no kiss) and placed her hand where Daddy just kissed her. Mosquitoes Spotter It all started with Mummy killing mosquitoes with her hands. Mummy explained to Yee that we need to kill them as they will bite us (interestingly the mosquitoes never bite Daddy). Since, Yee has been spotting them and telling us, "bite." In fact, Mummy killed a few mosquitoes successfully because Yee spotted them. She is indeed a great helper and skiller mosquitoes spotter. Bedtime Prayer - Mummy added new item in the normal bedtime prayer "... Tomorrow Koh Yee goes to ballet class. Pray that Koh Yee will follow senei. Daddy and Mummy cannot go to the dance floor," "STOP," said Yee. “Good Job” and “Bad Job” Poster - Mummy did this “Good Job” and “Bad Job” poster, in hope that, it will help Yee to understand the difference between good and bad behaviours at the ballet class. - Mummy explained to Yee that when Yee stays on the dance and follow sensei, that is "good job" and Daddy, Mummy, Sensei and Yee will be happy. If Yee runs around, that is "bad job" and Daddy, Mummy, Sensei and Yee will be sad. - Mummy taught Yee once. And she immediately did the thumb-up for “Good Job” and thumb-down, with a sad face for “Bad Job”.Mummy prayed that God will help Yee to follow teacher’s instruction for this week class.
Morning Doctor Visit Yee was coughing throughout the night and had slight fever. Mummy was concerned. There was a tropical storm warning and the wind was blowing very strongly. Thank God that the ride to the clinic was fine. Kinder Nursery Report Yee-chan finished her lunch box and drank her medicine. After taking the medicine, she slept quickly during nap. She coughed a little during sleep. At Kinder Nursery Due to the tropical storm, there was no train service at our station. So, Daddy had a day off. In the evening, Daddy accompanied Mummy to pick up Yee. Daddy went in to pick Yee while Mummy tried to take picture secretly. Blow kiss to 先生 Journey Home As it was not raining, Daddy carried Yee's tricycle to her nursery. Yee was delighted to see her tricycle after a week (it has been raining the whole week and Mummy could not bring the tricycle along).
