2Y5M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee

Yee was totally exhausted yesterday and slept from 5pm last evening till ... 5am this morning!! Mummy had to wake up with her. As Mummy slept at around 1am, Mummy was in zombie state and did not go to church with Yee. Yee was full of energy and at 2pm, there was still no sign of weariness. So, Mummy decided to bring her to SATY ... let her play and be worn out.

Word Spoken
- At Saty, Mummy pushed Yee around in the Anpanman shopping car. Yee spotted the dolls, came out of the car and waved her hand and said, "Come on" (signaling for Mummy to follow her).

2Y5M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee

Kinder Nursery
We went to 東根 (ひがしね) today. There was a mountain-shape tunnel. Yee-chan wanted to walk through it but was afraid to do so. I walked through with her and she did not look as fearful anymore. Then, she was grinning with her friends in the tunnel.
Way Home
Today Mummy was very tired and decided to use the bike instead of walking Yee home. On the bike, Mummy explained to Yee that Mummy was tired and we would go home directly.
Mummy said, "Mummy, very tired."
Yee replied, "Tired ない."
Mummy asked, "How's school today?"

Yee replied, "Very tired."

Mummy burst into laughter.

First-time series
Yee did something new today. While climbing the stairs, she turned to face Mummy and held Mummy's hands and then she climbed up the stairs ... backwards.

2Y4M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee

Kinder Nursery
Yee-chan was in very good mood today. She was full of smiles for a long time. She was very good at physical exercise and danced. She danced in front of the other children.
Way Home
- Mummy looked into the nursery room and saw Yee sitting next to a baby boy who was lying on his tummy. Yee was talking to him and showed him a toy. Yee looked like a big sister talking to her little brother. It was heart-warming to see Yee showering love on little ones.
- On our walk home, Mummy told Yee that Mummy is proud of her looking after the baby boy. Yee looked up at Mummy and smiled brightly.

2Y4M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee

Breakfast
Mummy asked Yee to say grace together.
Yee said, "grace ない."
Then Yee held Mummy's hand and put them together.
After that, Yee said, "ごえん” clapped her hands together, smile and nodded her head.

Mummy said, "いただきます” (itadakimasu = "I humbly receive" before a meal).

Below is a short clip from youtube reflecting this Japanese culture

Toilet Training
- After Yee had pooed, Mummy let Yee wore panties for the whole morning. Yee peed twice ... on the floor.
- In the evening, Yee told Daddy that she wanted to poo. Daddy brought her to the toilet and she peed into the toilet bowl. Daddy and Mummy stood by the door and praised her. Yee was delighted with her own achievement.

2Y4M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee

Fruitful Morning
There was no Japanese class this morning. And the family had a very fruitful morning.
- Daddy and Mummy listened to the sermon by Pastor Rony Tan of Lighthouse Evangelism, Singapore. And then they discussed and prayed together.
- Mummy let Yee wore panties (no diaper) this morning. Yee would tell Mummy, "wee, wee, toilet" and "poo, poo, toilet". But she ended up peeing on the floor. Mummy just explained to Yee that she must tell Mummy before she peed. While Mummy was busy cleaning up, Daddy saw Yee in the midst of pooing and told Mummy. Mummy quickly grabbed Yee and put her on the toilet seat. This was the first time Yee pooed in the toilet bowl. Daddy and Mummy praised Yee.

Piggy Ride

Little Flying Fish
- Yee would sit on the steps of the pool and waited for Daddy's signal. When daddy pretended to be doing something else, Yee would get his attention. When Daddy did the "1, 2 and 3" hand gesture. Yee would smile, dive into the pool, swim (doggie-style) to Daddy who was standing 1.8m away.
- A mum with two kids was standing by the stairs and she was surprised that Yee swam.
- Mummy think that sometimes adults underestimate what a kid can do. Thanks to Daddy, who is more daring than Mummy, and let Yee try many things.
