2Y3M (JP) - 夏休み (Last Day)

Mummy and Yee sent Daddy to the train station. Then we went to the supermarket but it was not opened yet as it was only 9:50am. So, Mummy took Yee for a ride and stopped by the park. It was a wonderful detour as Mummy discovered that Yee could do many things on her own.
Swinging-good-time

Climbing up by herself and standing tall,

From standing position to sitting,

it was interesting to watch Yee moving from the first swing, to the second and finally to the fourth swing. She surely made sure she had fun with all the swings.

Sliding-good-time
This is the first-time Mummy saw Yee playing on this slide. It was high but Yee was in control. Honestly, despite Yee's skillfulness at the slide, Mummy kept a keen eye on Yee all the time.

Yee played non-stop till Mummy had to carry her away to have a snack and drink.
Sanding-good-time
Yee wanted to play in the sandbox, Mummy told her that she had to finish her bun first. And Yee ate quickly and hurried to the sandbox.

As this was an unplanned visit to the park, Mummy did not bring along any toys to play with. Yee took a bucket and spade from the sandbox. The owner, a little girl, saw it and quickly walked up to Yee, stretched out her hand and told Yee to return them to her. Mummy explained to Yee that the toys belonged to the girl. Yee thought for a while and returned them to the owner. I brought Yee to the nearby convenient store and bought the only available suitable toys for her to play at the sandbox.

First-time: Sleeping on the Bike
As Mummy was riding, Yee held on to Mummy's hands (instead of the handle in front of her) and leaned back comfortably. As Mummy expected, Yee had dozed off.

First-time: Napping in the living room
Mummy decided to let Yee sleep in the living room as the bedroom was too warm.

Spoken Words
a) This morning, while feeding the fish and Daddy said, "爸爸在喂鱼。” Yee promptly replied, "鱼饿了。"

b) At dinner time, Mummy said, "Yee, come and eat your dinner." Yee replied, "Eat now?" as if asking for confirmation.

c) During playtime, Yee took the alphabet 'o' and said, "zero".

2Y3M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee

Mummy took camera out to specially take picture of this blouse that Daddy bought for Yee.

What the squabble about? Watch the videos ...

Yee saying, "quiet ない!” (quiet, no!)

Yee saying, "安静 ない!” (quiet, no!)
- Since last evening, Yee has become very chatty (おしゃべり - what Daddy and Mummy called her among ourselves). From our evening walk home (about 10 minutes), Yee talked non-stop. This afternoon, after waking up from her nap, Yee talked non-stop to us and herself (while playing on her own) too. Daddy and Mummy actually enjoyed her chattiness very much.

Showertime
This evening, Yee took her bucket and sat on it like a potty.

2Y3M (JP) - Weekly Swim at Ichikawa Clean Spa

In the free shuttle bus to the Ichikawa Clean Spa. Daddy gave Yee a bun to eat before her 'vigorous' swim.

Displaying Her Independence
Yee liked to do things by herself these days...
a) Taking off her shoes and put them into the shoe locker.

b) Climbing up the stairs on her own.

c) Taking and placing the glass on the machine.

After the swim, Yee went to her fave machine and asked for an ice-cream. This is probably the only time she gets to eat ice-cream.

2Y3M (JP) - 夏休み (Day 2) - Part 1

Daddy accompanied Mummy and Yee to 西船橋 where Mummy was going for her bi-weekly check-up.

Yee was a role model for train commuters -- staying behind the yellow line. Well, Yee was puzzled why Daddy said, "Do not enter the train."

Yee stretching her arms and said "fly".

Yee wanted to use the escalator. Daddy told her that it was dangerous and she stood there watching.

Just before reaching the hospital, Yee stopped at a small car park and ...

Yee took her nursery smock and cap down from the hanger and put them on. Mummy thought that Yee looked lovely in them.

Yee climbed up her high-chair and ...

... started to cite 'A, B, C' on her own.

It was evidence from the video that Yee was sleepy ... at 3:40pm. But Yee refused to take her nap and continued to play ....
