Playing with Rody

Yee was sitting on Minnie car. The moment she saw Anpanman car, she deserted Minnie for him.

Yee's First McDonald Happy Meal
To get Yee the mammoth, Mummy bought Yee a happy meal. Yee was more interested in the fries than chicken nuggets.

2Y3M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee

Kinder Nursery
We did a lot of physical exercise today. After that, we raced. Yee was running around with her friends. We had crawl racing and Yee-chan was second in the goal. The fun holidays starts tomorrow. I look forward to see Yee-chan on the 18.
After Nursery Walk
- It was a cool evening and Mummy decided to walk, instead of cycling.
- Yee stopped by her fave carpark and started to name the color of the cars.

2Y3M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee

Kinder Nursery
We played with origami today. Yee-chan chose a yellow origami and folded it into half. She was good at pasting the square origami and happily said, "先生". She would ‘pulled out’ those that was pasted.
Journey Home
- Mummy wanted to buy milk at the Lawson store. Yee did not want to get down from the bike. Instead she pointed straight and said, "Go there." Mummy stood there thinking hard, where could she bring Yee. Then, Mummy asked, "Do you want to go to the library?" Yee nodded her head and said, "Yes."
- We took elevator to the Adult section as Mummy wanted to borrow books on learning Japanese. Yee took a book and sat on the floor beside Mummy. Yee was getting restless. So, Mummy told her that we are going to the children section. Upon hearing that, Yee stood up immediately. Mummy was surprised that Yee could understand what children section was.
- We stood outside the children while Yee ate her banana. (Yee was hungry and asked for it. Mummy always brought a banana along whenever she fetched Yee. It served two purposes - Firstly, to feed Yee if she was hungry. Secondly, it was a good way to make Yee ate banana frequently as Mummy did not have other food).
- Mummy explained to Yee that we could only enter the children section after she had finished her banana. Once Yee took had last bite of the banana, she walked straight into the children section. Mummy was impressed with how well Yee understood what Mummy had said.
- Yee happily walked around the children section, taking books and sat on various places to read - chair by the table and long sofa.

2Y3M (JP) - Marvelous Co-incidence

Marvelous Co-incidence
- Daddy and Mummy realized two interesting things when they place their beloved children's name side-by-side:
a) In English, it would be Yee-Zee (sound like easy)
b) In Mandarin, it would be 艺治 (sound like 意志 which means determination)
New Mandarin Phrase
Besides saying "许艺两
岁 ”, Daddy taught Yee to say, “弟弟在妈妈的肚子里面". Yee would say it soundly. When you asked her to repeat, she repeated the word "面" loudly.
Kinder Nursery
We did physical exercise and sticker pasting today. During exercise, Yee held hands with friends and danced. Yee was good at pasting stickers, pasting one after another. Yee-chan loved the Anpanman sticker very much.

2Y3M (JP) - Singapore National Day

It was Singapore's 44th Birthday. The Koh family dressed in their national color - Red & White.

Upon seeing Mummy's taking out the camera, Yee passed her Elmo bag to Daddy and posed.

Mummy seldom took pictures with Yee and on this special day, asked Daddy to take pictures for her ... precious memories.

As we walked, Yee liked to give command, "Stop." Then with a cheeky smile, she would say, "Ready, set (Yee would ran two steps first and then said) ... go!"

2Y3M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee

Morning
While having breakfast, we heard "puut". Yee touched her buttock and said, "farted."

Mummy asked, "Who farted?"
Yee thought for a moment and then pointed at a distant and said, "Elmo." (She was pointing at her Elmo bag).

Mummy said, "It's Koh Yee."
Yee said, "Elmo". (still pointing at Elmo)

Mummy said, "No, it's Koh Yee."

Then Yee said, "Daddy" (pointing at Daddy)

Kinder Nursery
We did physical exercise in the room today. We played with blocks. Yee-chan was connecting the blocks and making the train by herself. Yee-chan said happily, "上手だね" (good job).

2Y3M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee

Morning Affair
Yee has been bringing her Elmo handbag and umbrella (even when it was not raining) to school. This morning, she wanted to bring her Pooh haversack too. Mummy said "No!" Daddy gave in as it was getting late. Mummy was angry and told Yee sternly "Just go to school with Daddy." At the door step, Yee refused to follow Daddy nor let him go. Yee wanted Mummy to kiss her goodbye. Mummy refused. Yee stood at the door step for a long while. Finally, Mummy conceded. Mummy told her, "I don't like you to bring Pooh haversack to school. But I will kiss you goodbye." After kissing Yee, Yee was pleased and followed Daddy to the elevator. As she walked, she kept turning back to wave goodbye to Mummy, making sure that Mummy responded too. Outside the elevator, she gave Mummy 'fly kisses' twice.
Kinder Nursery
- The whole school did physical exercise together today. Yee-chan was dancing beside me for a long time. After that, we played with balls. We did height and weight measurement today. Yee-chan was moving a lot on the weighing scale. Surely she would get used to it.
- Height: 84.2cm / Weight: 11K
Way Home
Today, Mummy decided to use the bike as she needed to buy some grocery after picking Yee up. It has been a couple of weeks since Yee sat on the bike after school. Yee was delighted. Seeing Yee so happy on the bike, Mummy thought, perhaps, Mummy should use the bike instead of walking (especially it is humid these days).
