Morning
While having breakfast, we heard "puut". Yee touched her buttock and said, "farted."
Mummy asked, "Who farted?"
Yee thought for a moment and then pointed at a distant and said, "Elmo." (She was pointing at her Elmo bag).
Mummy said, "It's Koh Yee."
Yee said, "Elmo". (still pointing at Elmo)
Mummy said, "No, it's Koh Yee."
Then Yee said, "Daddy" (pointing at Daddy)
Kinder Nursery
We did physical exercise in the room today. We played with blocks. Yee-chan was connecting the blocks and making the train by herself. Yee-chan said happily, "上手だね" (good job).

2Y3M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Morning Affair
Yee has been bringing her Elmo handbag and umbrella (even when it was not raining) to school. This morning, she wanted to bring her Pooh haversack too. Mummy said "No!" Daddy gave in as it was getting late. Mummy was angry and told Yee sternly "Just go to school with Daddy." At the door step, Yee refused to follow Daddy nor let him go. Yee wanted Mummy to kiss her goodbye. Mummy refused. Yee stood at the door step for a long while. Finally, Mummy conceded. Mummy told her, "I don't like you to bring Pooh haversack to school. But I will kiss you goodbye." After kissing Yee, Yee was pleased and followed Daddy to the elevator. As she walked, she kept turning back to wave goodbye to Mummy, making sure that Mummy responded too. Outside the elevator, she gave Mummy 'fly kisses' twice.
Kinder Nursery
- The whole school did physical exercise together today. Yee-chan was dancing beside me for a long time. After that, we played with balls. We did height and weight measurement today. Yee-chan was moving a lot on the weighing scale. Surely she would get used to it.
- Height: 84.2cm / Weight: 11K
Way Home
Today, Mummy decided to use the bike as she needed to buy some grocery after picking Yee up. It has been a couple of weeks since Yee sat on the bike after school. Yee was delighted. Seeing Yee so happy on the bike, Mummy thought, perhaps, Mummy should use the bike instead of walking (especially it is humid these days).

2Y3M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Tough Morning
It took Mummy 30 minutes to get Yee out of the house. By the time, we reached the nursery, it was 10:10am and the other kids were happily playing in the pool. Yee sat on the bike and watched while Mummy explained to her that she has less time for the pool because she did not want to come to the nursery.
Kinder Nursery
This morning Yee-chan was not in a good mood when she entered the pool. She remained unhappy in the pool. But once she saw the water balloons floating by, she was smiling and played happily. She took a longer time to sleep (than other kids) during nap time.
Supper Time
Yee 'sharing' daddy's noodle. It was warmth to see Daddy and Yee eating one strand of noodle from opposite end. It was a pity that Mummy did not manage to get a picture of it.

Surprise Photo
Mummy was surprised to see this photo. Daddy took it while we were sleeping. Mummy could only sleep on her left side as she was 6-month pregnant (pregnant women are not recommended to on their right as it would press against an important blood vessel).

2Y3M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Kinder Nursery
- We went for a walk today. Yee-chan stood in the stroller cart. It has been a while since we took a walk and Yee-chan was very happy. Whenever she saw dogs, flowers, train, etc, she would point at the things and said, “先生". She waved to the train and the train driver waved back.
- One week before the Bon Festival, outside activities are cancelled. We will have pool time, please remember to prepare for it.
- Potty Training: 15:00 (sat only)
Mummy i wondering ...
Mummy wonder how did the train driver waved back at Yee. The track is way above us ????
After Nursery Walk
Mummy thought this walk was for Yee (since she was confined to the nursery room for the whole day). On deeper thought, perhaps it was meant for the six-month pregnant Mummy. The one hour walk (every Mon to Fri) would surely build up Mummy's health and stamina. Maybe that's why God delay His blessings (for a little while) in granting Yee a place in the govt nursery just, opposite our apartment.
Yee Found Her Highchair
Mummy kept this high-chair since we used a low dinning table (like Japanese) and sat on the floor. Few days ago, Mummy was surprised to see Yee sitting on the high-chair in the bedroom. Apparently, Yee had dragged this high-chair from the corner where Mummy kept it. But how did she got it out from among the few things that were blocking it. Mummy wonder ... Anyway, Yee loves it and has been sitting on it in the bedroom. This evening, Mummy decided to let her sit on it and watch DVDs on the TV. See ... Yee was enjoying it.

2Y3M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Model-in-the-Making?
This morning, Yee stood by the window. When Mummy said, "Say cheese." Yee did many poses ... naturally

Kinder Nursery
We played in the pool today. Yee-chan was happily swimming and filling the bucket with water. She had a great time. Then it was time to empty the pool. She remained in the pool till the end.
Potty Training: 15:00 (sat only)
After Nursery Walk
At Lawson, Yee touched a pack of tidbits and it fell onto the floor. Yee simply walked away. Mummy asked her to pick it up, Yee shook her head and said, "No." Mummy explained to Yee that the packet dropped because she touched it. Yee tried to distract Mummy by pointing at a dog statue on the cashier counter. Mummy persisted and told Yee gently that she needed to pick up the packet. After a while, Yee walked back to the packet, pick it up and placed it back on the same spot from where it dropped.

2Y3M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Morning Walk To Nursery
it was drizzling and Yee wanted to use the umbrella. This was the first time we saw her opening and closing the umbrella by herself (well, Mummy always let her wear raincoat ... because it was easier).

Kinder Nursery
We played with dolls and wooden blocks in the room. Yee-chan was hugging the dolls. She called a sheep doll “dog”. Yee-chan saw a picture of a train on the wooden block and happily said, “choo-choo”.
Potty Training: 15:00 (sat only)
Evening Walk From Nursery
Yee had a surprise guest - Daddy fetched her home this evening.

Playing with two small identical-looking dogs inside the car. The owner has a twin girls too.

On our way home, we met Yee's friend, あよまちゃん. They had great fun together.

2Y3M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Morning Walk To Nursery
- Minutes after Daddy and Yee left for nursery, the door bell rang. They were back because Yee pointed at her head and told to Daddy, "帽子。" Mummy put on the hat for Yee. Yee really looked like a Japanese kid with the hat on.
- Daddy pointed at his watch and told Yee, “手表。小艺没有手表。"
Yee was quiet and thought for a while. Then she touched Daddy's head and said, "帽子, 没有。" Daddy was in great surprise.
Kinder Nursery
We did physical exercise today. Yee-chan was happily dancing. She danced well. After that, she raced. As she ran, she said, "ヨーイドン" cheerfully. She really ran a lot. She persevered in running till the end.
Potty Training: 15:00 (sat only)
After Nursery Walk
- Yee walked into a different car park (from yesterday). She pointed at a car and told me, "White car". Then she went around pointing at the different cars. She stopped in front of a car and said, "Nose". I was surprised. Then I realized that she was pointing at a Toyota logo in front of the car.
- Yee said, "Four" and pointed at the number on the car park lot. I asked her, "Where is three?". She ran to the next lot and pointed at the number. She did the same for two. When it came to the number one, she said, "Right here, one." I was impressed that she used the phrase 'right here'.
When You Child Is Too Quiet
Mothers are right when they said that when your kids are quiet, better check on them. I was working on the computer when I realized that Yee was unusually quiet. Then I know why ... see below photos:

There goes Mummy precious Prickly Heat, specially brought from Singapore.

After all the fun, Mummy got Yee to clean up.
Having Fun With Her Little Brother's Stuff
- Our neighbour gave us a bouncer this evening (her 13 months-old son had outgrown it). Yee was excited as she looked at it. She said, "Koh Yee's". Mummy replied, "No, darling. It is 弟弟." "'弟弟," Yee repeated as she looked at it. After showering, Yee wanted to sit on 弟弟's bouncer. Well, Mummy thought 'just let her enjoy it'. See, how Yee enjoyed her new 'chair'.

New Fave Phrase
- These few days, Yee new fave word is "I Know, I Know". And she used it numerously time this evening.
- Mummy wanted to help Yee to put on her diaper. Yee shook her head and said, "I Know, I Know".
- After washing her hands, Yee would wipe her hands dry with her personal towel. But it is often not dry. Mummy wanted to teach Yee how to dry her hands properly. But Yee replied, "I Know, I Know".
- Mummy's mobile was ringing. Yee had it and refused to give it to Mummy. As she walked away from Mummy, she said, "I Know, I Know".
