2Y2M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Kinder Nursery
Today, after the physical exercise, we played with the ‘nap’ towel. Yee-chan dragged the towel and walked around in the middle of the room. Yee-chan put the towel around her head and was very happy.
Potty Training: 15:00 (sat only)
On Our Way Home
In a desperate measure, I brought Yee to the government nursery (すえひろ保育園） which we had applied. We stood outside the gate and looked inside. This was our conversation:
Mummy: "Do you like this place?"
Yee nodded her head.
Mummy: "Do you want to come here?"
Yee nodded her head.
Then we prayed "God, we prayed for Your divine intervention and let Yee get into this nursery next month. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen."
"Amen," said Yee
- In the morning, I went to another nearby nursery 行徳あけぼの方保育園 (http://www.akebonogroup.jp/gyoutoku-akebono/) to have a look. It was about 10 minutes walk. The compound was big. Unfortunately, the person-in-charge does not speak English. The lady was cordial but not friendly.
- In my heart, I still prefer すえひろ保育園 (which is two minutes walk). The person-in-charge not only speaks English but is also more friendly. Moreover, with the second baby on the way, this is definitely a better choice. Right now, there are three kids on the waiting list (including Yee) :-( But nothing is impossible for God. "God, may it be Your will that Yee gets into this nursery in a miraculous way. Amen!"

Morning Before School
It was hard for Mummy to tie Yee's hair. This morning, Yee surprisingly let Mummy tied her hair. And Mummy quickly took pictures.

Bye-bye, Mummy.

The whole school went for physical exercise today. Yee-chan danced happily. After that, she played with toy cars and trains. Yee-chan connected many trains together. Then she took the trains and ran around the room with her friends. Potty Training: 11:00 and 15:00 (sat only)

As we climbed up the stairs, Yee counted from 1 to 10 without my help. Great Job, Sweetie!

In Japan's academic year, though Yee is 2 years-old (calendar year), she belongs to "1-year-old nursery class". The cut-off date is 1 April. Since Yee's birthday is 25 April, she is down by 1 year.

Kinder NurseryWe played in the big classroom today. Yee-chan took the anpanman’s toy and said, “Anpanman.”. Then she played houses with friends.
Potty Training: 15:00
How Old Are You?
These two days, Yee was able to make the sign "two" with her fingers. It was interesting to watch her doing it.
New Routine
Since last Thursday (on weekdays' evenings), Yee would sit on the potty for a good 5 minutes before shower. She has yet to 'poo' or 'wee' into it but it was a tremendous improvement already. Praise God!!

Kinder Nursery
We went to 南根（みなみね） park today. Yee sat happily on the swing. After that, together with 5, 6 friends, they chased the cat together. They were laughing as they chased the cat.

Today is 七夕（たなばた） (Tanabata/Star Festival). Yee's nursery gave us a branch of bamboo with Yee's wishes and some decor.
