Morning Journey to School
As Yee walked through the carpark, she used her foot to point at the number on the parking lot. Daddy realized that Yee was imitating his action (which he did yesterday) where he used his foot to point at the different numbers and taught Yee to recgonize the numbers. Kinder Nursery- We did physical exercise in the room. During the exercise, Yee-chan liked to pass through my legs. She saw friends sitting on the potty and imitated them by sitting on it too.- ７月かざり

As we were climbing up the stairs, Yee started to recognize the floor number on the wall. She pointed at "3" and said, "four". I corrected her. At 4th floor, she said, "four". I was glad that Yee was beginning to recognize numbers. We have been exposing her to numbers through books and things around us.
Way To School- For these two days, after kissing Mummy "goodbye" at the door, Yee walked to the elevator and then she would quickly ran back to Mummy and said, "Elmo". After giving her the Elmo bag, she happily ran back to meet Daddy at the elevator, and blew kisses to Mummy.
- It was drizzling, Daddy let Yee played in the rain. Yee happily ran from a paddle of water to the next. Yee kept saying, “下雨”. Soon, they reached her school, much faster than normal days.
Kinder NurseryWe played with newspaper in the room today. When Yee-chan saw the next door friends wrapped their heads with newspaper, she took the newspaper and pointed at her head. When wrapped up with the newspaper, she was very happy. Recently, Yee-chan did not dislike sitting on the potty at all. Today, Yee-chan did not like to get down from the potty.Potty Training: 11:00 and 15:00 (sat only)Up-&-DownWe did 'up-&-down' at the staircase. There were six fleets of stair at our apartment building. Yee would climb up two fleets and climbed down another. We did this "up and down" numerous till Yee was satisfied.
Koh Yee's
Mummy bought a new pillow for Daddy. Together with Yee, we put on the pillow case. When it was done, Yee happily held it and said, "Koh Yee's". Daddy told her that it was his. Yee shook her head and said, "Koh Yee's" and refused to give it to Daddy. At bedtime, Yee pointed at the new pillow (which was put at Daddy's place) and said, "Koh Yee's". She would not yied till I changed her pillow with Daddy's. So Yee won and took possession of Daddy's things.
Good Job
Now, Yee loves to say, "Good job" (with two thumbs-up) whenever she completed a task.
Kinder NurseryYee-chan was very chatty in class today. Yee-chan boarded the stroller cart and we went for a walk. Yee-chan said words like train, flowers, good-good, bird, etc. Yee-chan was very happy the whole day.
Potty Training: 11:00 and 15:00 (sat only)On The Way HomeWe stopped outside the neighbor's house. Yee wanted to look at the flowers. As she was admiring the purple flowers, Yee looked up at me and said, "Take picture." I gave her my mobile. Yee was thrilled when she saw the image on the mobile's screen. As she moved the phone, so did the image. Then the screen went into idle screen. I told Yee, "No more." Yee closed the mobile and returned the phone to me. As we walked off, she looked back, waved and said, "Bye, bye" to the plants.
No Way
Somewhere last week, I thought I heard Yee said, "no way". But I dismissed it as I did not use the phrase myself. I assumed it to be "no wear" since I was asking her to put on her clothes herself. For the next few days, Yee said, "no way" on numerous occasions (unfortunately I could not recall any incidents now).
Playtime - Number Puzzle
Yee put the numbers back into the slot. As she was playing, she said, "Where? where? ... こっち (means here)。"Yee tried to keep the board but failed. So, she pushed the numbers from the main board again.

Kinder NurseryWe went 東沖(ひがしおき) today. We raced together. Yee-chan ran very happily. After that, Yee happily piled up a lot of flowers.
Potty Training: 15:20 (sat only)On The Way Home
Everything was fine till we stopped to look at the potted plants outside a neighbour's house, just opposite our apartment building. Yee first looked at the purple flowers, then she looked at the next potted plant, filled with huge leaf. I took out the mobile to take picture. Soon, Yee took control of the mobile. We stood there for quite a while. I tried not to rush Yee. Then something happened. Yee said something which I could not understand. And she was frustrated. WhenI squatted beside her to ask her what she wanted. She demanded, "Stand!" and pushing me to stand. When I stood, Yee pushed me toward the potted green plants. I really had no clue what she wanted. Yee just cried non-stop. The last straw was she lied on the floor and cried ... which I detested. I picked her up and 'stormed' home! Once home, I put her down at the doorway and left her to cry. Yee took me shoes to me and asked me to bring her out. I decided to ignore Yee, knowing that 'entertaining' her would only encourage her to cry more. I did the dishes and turned on 'Sesame Street: Count 123'. Yee cried for a good 15 mintues before she got distracted by Sesame Street. Then she alternate between crying and watching for another 15 minutes. Finally, I heard the sweetest voice, "Ma, ma." I knew my little girl had calmed down and went to her immediately. She signaled for me to open the door of the shoe cabinet. Then she took off her shoes, put them into the cabinet, closed the door, took off her socks, put them into laundry basket and went to watch Sesame Street. I asked Yee for a hug. And she gave me a hug one. Yee is my sweetie pie again.
