Milestones - Yee Dress Herself For School
Yee has been wearing pants on her own. Last night, she wore her shirt without any help. This morning, she put on her own shirt and then pants. While she was dressing herself, I hoped that she has the correct side as she refused any help. Her top was fine but her pants was wrong side (fortunately, it was not obvious). And she was watching nursery rhymes from youtube while dressing. This little girl can surely multi-task.

Kinder NurseryToday, we went to 三町畑(さんちゅうはた)park. Yee-chan played happily on the swing. When we returned to the nursery, we bathed. Yee-chan did not cry at all and stood motionlessly. After shower, she was very happy.
Independence
After shower, I let Yee wore the diaper, shirt and pants on her own. She took her time to wear them. When she finished, this is her achievement ...
her top is reverse.
Kinder Nursery
Today, we did gymnastic in the room. This is the first time Yee tried gymnastic and she was lost. She did not leave my side. After that, she played with dolls. She played happily with her favourite dog stuff toy.
Long Way Home
June is a drizzling season in Japan. As I could not cycle with one hand (while holding umbrella with the other) like most Japanese, I decided to bring Yee's raincoat, umbrella and rain shoes for her. I believe she would enjoy walking in the drizzle. But I was very ... very wrong. Firstly, she refused to wear the hood of the raincoat. Secondly, she refused to hold her umbrella. Thirdly, she wanted me to carry her. I'm four-months pregnant and could not manage to carry her, her bag and umbrella, and walking 15 minutes home. I explained to Yee that I could not carry her while having to carry the bag and umbrella. Yee cried for a long time. So, there it was ... mummy squatting by the roadside with a crying toddler. Finally, Yee yielded and walked. It was difficult to shelter her and myself with my small umbrella.
By the time we reached home, it was 35 minutes and I was totally exhausted. And Yee ... yes my dear daughter ... when she saw me hanging her umbrella on the door knob, she wanted to use it ... after we were inside the house. I was so furious that I reprimanded her and took the umbrella away. Yee cried pretty badly. I ignored her and took a shower to cool down. While drying off, I heard Yee calling "mummy, mummy..." in her little sweet voice. Hearing that melted my heart and ther was no anger left. I just hugged my little darling and kissed her non-stop. She is the second greatest blessings in mummy's life ... of course, daddy is the greatest blessing.
