Kinder NurseryWe went to 東根(ひがしね). There was a small house. Yee went into the house and played. She stretched her head out of the window and said happily, "先生!” After that, she played on the swing. On the way back, she had snacks.
Reading Time
These few days, whenever I pointed at the animals in the book, Yee would also point and said, "鼻(はな) (she was pointing at the nose)
Refusing to Sleep
Yee refused to sleep and stayed in the living-room with daddy. Finally, weariness overtook her and she ended up ............. aslept on the floor.
Kinder NurseryThank you for attending yesterday’s ‘Meet the parents’ session. You were concerned about Yee’s toilet-training. It is alright as the other children are not able to go by themselves yet. Let’s do our best.Way Home From Nursery- Outside the nursery, Yee looked at the sky and cried excitedly, "飞机". And near the lift landing of our apartment, she said, "蚂蚁" and pointed at the ants on the wall.-
Yee wanted to climb the stairs this evening. When we reached the last flight of steps, Yee turned around and wanted to walked down the stairs. I was surprised as how did she know we are reaching 4th floor where we stay. Then I remembered, from the 2nd and 3rd level, one could see the neighbours' doors from the stair but at 4th level, there was no door. I was amazed at Yee's keen observation on this.Yee's First Three Syllabus WordDuring reading time, I pointed at an animal and read it. Yee spontanteously repeated, "crocodile". Wow, this is Yee's first three syllabus word. It is interesting that I have been teaching her "elephant" and sometimes, "aeroplane" but she never repeat them like the way she did with "crocodile".
This evening is the first time I saw Yee sitting with her legs crossed. I quickly grabbed the camera and took the picture.
Yee ususally sits these ways:
New Japanese Word "Mugai"I was playing piggy pack with Yee. She kept saying, "むがい” and wanted to play again and again. I somehow remember that it means "again" but I could not find this Japanese word. Will have to check with friends.
Days later .... I checked with my friends, Yee was saying, "もう一回" (one more time).
Kinder Nursery
Today, Yee cried when she came to school. In the daytime, she was in good mood. Today is the first time we went to No.4 Park. There is a slide with an interesting shape. Yee wanted to slide on it. When she heard me, “slide together?” She was happy. I was slide closely with Yee. It was very fun.
人見先生 told me that Yee hit her. I turned to Yee and talked to her softly, "Yee, sensei said you hit her. What did mummy tell you about hitting people. You cannot hit people, do you understand?" Yee looked down and nodded her head. Then I turned her around and asked her to apologize to sensei. Yee did by nodding her head in apology.
Pooh-san Haversack
Later in the evening, Yee pointed at the haversack and said, "Pooh-san". I'm not too sure if this is the first time she called "Pooh-san". Anyway, she carried it on her back and love it. I bought this a long time ago from a recycled shop while Yee was still little. It costed less than U$5. I found it a good buy and believe Yee will love it when she was ready to use it. Now at 2, Yee is ready and loves it!

On The Way To NurseryDaddy brings Yee to nursery every morning ... well except Wednesday. This morning, there is a sports event in the elementary, near our apartment. Daddy, as always patient, let Yee stood outside the gate to watch the event for a while.
As they continue to walk to the nursery, Yee saw a leaf on the floor and picked it up. She passed the leaf to Daddy and pointed at the ant on the floor. A few days ago, Daddy used a leaf to scoop up an ant and showed Yee. Yee tried and could not scoop the ant. This morning, remembering the previous experience, she handed the leaf to Daddy.
Kinder NurseryWe went to the park. We were making heart-shape sand at the sandbox. Yee gave me a scoop. We made a lot of hearts-shaped.Mummy ... The Technology Laggie
What I'm going to say will sound dumb to many people. But never mind, I'm going to say it. "Wow, this morning, I discovered that I can email photos from my mobile unto my computer. Praise God!"Here are some photos that I took of Yee from my mobile:May 2008: First arrived in Japan, at Akihabara (秋葉原)

My fave photo for my mobile wallpaper

Kinder NurseryWe went to the park. There were many pigeons. Yee immediately chased the pigeons. The pigeons flew away. Yee pointed at the pigeons and said, “Ah…” After that, Yee was happily sitting on the swing.
