2Y2M (JP) - Kamogawa Seaworld 鴨川シーワールド(Part 1)

The bus journey to Kamogawa was about 2hrs. The teachers filled the time with singing and quizzes.

At a rest-stop

Here we were ... finally

Killer Whale

Sea Lion

Pelican

King Penguin

Sea Turtles

The sea is right below but they are enclosed ... so near and yet so far.

Yee happily chased the pigeons after lunch.

"Daddy, buy."

Yee's Fave Japanese Cartoon Character - Anpanman

It's hard to get Mummy and Yee to look at the camera at the same time.

2Y2M (JP) - Kamogawa Seaworld 鴨川シーワールド (Part 3)

On our way home from Kamogawa Seaworld (鴨川シーワールド)

Outside すえひろ保育園
We have been bringing Yee to the government nursery (which we are still queuing). Yee wanted to get in but it was closed on Sunday (anyway, we cannot enter as Yee is not a student there). We prayed for God to perform a miracle that Yee will be enrolled in Aug.

See how badly Yee wanted to get in (Dear God, please hear Yee's prayer.)

Yee did not want to leave the compound.

A building was demolished, near our house, Yee played at the compound for the first time (encouraged by Daddy)

Daddy asked Yee to pass him a stone. Yee shrugged her shoulders in response.

Soon with Daddy's encouragement, she started to pick up stones.

Yee kicked the stone as we continued our walk home.

It took 10 minutes to walk home from where we alighted from the bus. But with Yee's eagerness to walk around the neighbourhood, it became one hour.

2Y2M (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee

Kinder Nursery
Today, after the physical exercise, we played with the ‘nap’ towel. Yee-chan dragged the towel and walked around in the middle of the room. Yee-chan put the towel around her head and was very happy.
Potty Training: 15:00 (sat only)
On Our Way Home
In a desperate measure, I brought Yee to the government nursery (すえひろ保育園) which we had applied. We stood outside the gate and looked inside. This was our conversation:
Mummy: "Do you like this place?"
Yee nodded her head.
Mummy: "Do you want to come here?"
Yee nodded her head.
Then we prayed "God, we prayed for Your divine intervention and let Yee get into this nursery next month. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen."
"Amen," said Yee
- In the morning, I went to another nearby nursery 行徳あけぼの方保育園 (http://www.akebonogroup.jp/gyoutoku-akebono/) to have a look. It was about 10 minutes walk. The compound was big. Unfortunately, the person-in-charge does not speak English. The lady was cordial but not friendly.
- In my heart, I still prefer
すえひろ保育園 (which is two minutes walk). The person-in-charge not only speaks English but is also more friendly. Moreover, with the second baby on the way, this is definitely a better choice. Right now, there are three kids on the waiting list (including Yee) :-( But nothing is impossible for God. "God, may it be Your will that Yee gets into this nursery in a miraculous way. Amen!"
