Kinder Nursery
Today, we went to the park. Yee had sat on the swaying dog before. Her friends were sitting on it first. Yee was hesitating. I told her to wait for her friends to finish. Yee was great.

2Y (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Kinder Nursery
Today, Yee was crying when she said goodbye to Daddy. She stopped crying immediately and was smiling as she sang. We went to the park. Yee played with the sand. Then she climbed up the slide. Yee was at the top of the slide and I called her from the bottom. I helped and Yee was able to slide on her own.
On Our Way Home
After I parked our bicycle below our apartment, Yee did not want to get down. She sat on the bike and continued to eat her banana. I decided not to rush her and let her ate while I stood beside the bike, guarding her (in case the bike lost balance).
Daddy and I have remembered what a lady told us back in Singapore last April. She has two sons and shared with us that she whenever she brought her boys to the toy department, she never rushed them. Her reasoning was that if she wanted her sons to be patiently shipping with her in future, she must be patient 'shopping' with them at the toy department too. Her words left a deep impression upon us.
Daddy has been showing a great example in never rushing Yee to "go-here, go-there". May it be at the toy department, or stopping to look at flowers, ants, etc while walking, Daddy always let Yee take time to explore her surroundings. Mummy still has a lot to learn from Daddy. Mummy is always rushing :-(

2Y (JP) - Mothers' Day
On our way to church ...

At the station

At the church

Mothers' Day Celebration at Commumity Centre

On our way home

Bedtime
Whenever we asked Yee, "Where is baby?" She always pointed at my tummy. Tonight, she pointed at her own tummy and said, "Baby." Daddy and Mummy had a great laugh. We tried to explain to Yee that there was no baby in her tummy. Yet she persisted and kept pointing at her tummy and said, "Baby."

2Y (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
This morning, Yee fed me lettuce. She was standing very close to my face. Then she pointed at my eye and said, "Koh Yee". I was lost initially. Then I realized that my little girl saw her own image in my eyes. It is amazing what little children observe.

2Y (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Kinder Nursery
Today, we played with big kids from another class. Yee and I played with them. Wherever the kids went, we followed. It was very fun when a friend took a spoon and brought it to Yee’s mouth. Yee said, “a-h” and was very happy.

Yee made a photo stand for mummy (artcraft from nursery) for Mother's Day. It says "Thanks always."

2Y (JP) - Daily Walk with Yee
Kinder Nursery
It was a while since Yee last came to the nursery. This morning, she cried. But after carrying her, she gradually stopped crying. Today, we played dolls in the room. Yee’s favourite is dog doll. She played with her friends.
Walking Home
I tried walking Yee home from nursery. She was walking and enjoying 'talking' and saying bye bye to the flowers and dog sculpture. Then she was fascinated by a swarm of mosquitoes outside a shop (it was closed) and refused to walk. She even stretched out her hands for the mosquitoes. I failed to get her to walk away. When a mosquitoe flew near her. I had to pick her up. Yee was crying as I carried her away. Then, my dear darling refused to walk anymore. And I had to carry her all the way home. She is heavy for me and it hurts my hip (because I had to use my hip to support her). This is the second time in one month that I tried to walk Yee home and failed. Well, looks like I better use the bicycle.
