Kinder Nursery Report:We went to 南根（みなみね）park. Yee-chan sat on the swing for a long time and did not want to get down. 渡辺先生 told her, “Let’s look for acorns.” Then she got down and held渡辺先生’s hands. When she saw the acorns, she was very happy.

We went to the 東沖 (ひがしおき) park. We have not been there for a while. Yee-chan sat on the swing and said, “先生、押して下さい” (Teacher, please push me.) Her Japanese is good. When it was time to leave, Yee-chan came down from the slide reluctantly.
Yee's Display of Affection
Mummy had a delightful surprise. Yee called her "ママちゃん" (mama-chan). Japanese loves to call kids with their names and ends it with ちゃん. When used on adults, it is an affectionate address.
